IaaS is an abbreviation for Infrastructure as a Service, which refers to the ability to manage (typically virtualized) hardware by making calls to an API or by using a command-line client.
DevOps Hipster is a derogatory term for an individual who knows about all the latest tools before you do, runs services at a higher scale than you, and writes code in more esoteric languages than you.
