DevOps Hipster

From DevOps Dictionary

This page is a stub, and is awaiting more content from a community hero. You could be that hero.

DevOps Hipster is a derogatory term for an individual who knows about all the latest tools before you do, runs services at a higher scale than you, and writes code in more esoteric languages than you. Contrary to the principles of inclusiveness, practicality, and communication which are at the core of the DevOps movement, a DevOps Hipster is more interested in appearing cool than effecting organizational change.
